Legacy Projects

The Government will be collaborating with the UWI and Team Usain Bolt to establish the Caribbean
Sports Medicine Centre to address the needs of elite athletes who have to travel outside the country for
treatment that is not offered in Jamaica.

The Centre will also be at the disposal of other athletes across the Caribbean, including youth & junior athletes. Dr Akshai Mansingh is the project leader.
